JohnsByrne, the leading supplier of financial services and fintech welcome kits and card carriers, partnered with Ouro for the development of their X World Wallet multicurrency card carrier.
Our Approach
- To kickoff the project, JohnsByrne hosted the Ouro team for a plant tour and to meet our team.
- We provided a variety of inspiration samples for review including various structures and enhancements.
- Our structural design team developed initial prototypes based on the creative brief along with an optional design for streamlined manufacturability and final design with an improved design for the card reveal.
- To achieve the raised tactile look on the artwork, we provided samples of Scodix tactile coating levels for evaluation.
Solution
The final carrier was produced on black folding board with soft touch and enhanced with Scodix tactile coating for contrast and the creation of a distinctive card carrier.
